Tracey finds writing about herself in the third person alienating and confusing, but it almost seems weirder to say “I” so here goes.
Tracey is a yoga teacher (9 years) and massage therapist (19 years) operating out of scenic Holy Cross. She has certifications from Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville (Integral Yoga) and Swan River Yoga, and degrees from Columbia University (Anthropology) and LSU (Creative Writing). She has studied informally with a lot of different teachers of a lot of different styles in a lot of different places. She digs studying.
Tracey’s teaching style draws on her eclectic education and experiences. Her classes are equal parts challenging and nurturing. She believes that yoga should be firmly grounded in tradition and should never stop evolving. That’s how things grow, y’all. She teaches a wide variety of classes around New Orleans. If you want to take a class with her, you can find here schedule right here.
Tracey practices massage out of her home. She has certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Reflexology, and Swedish. She has a particular obsession with the rotator cuff, and loves to help people work out their shoulder, neck, and jaw issues. She digs doing both table and mat work, and especially loves hybrid yoga/massage sessions. If you want to make an appointment to see her, you can find all her contact info right here.
Tracey is open to collaboration of all kinds. She likes making projects happen with other people. She does not like selling things or for other people to try to sell her things. If you want to work with her or just pow wow, email her at Tracey@MoreYogaLessBullshit.Com.
