What is strength? Is it impenetrability? Is it a hard shell that that protects you from the world? Or is it a soft shell, like a cocoon, that protects you as you grow but from which you must emerge with wings?
What do you do when you need strength? Physical strength? Emotional resilience? Focus? Do you have practices that allow you to move through difficult times with confidence? Do you want to build them?
In this six-week workshop series, we will build strength and explore what it means to be strong.
We will read Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior and discuss together how to bring the skill of the warrior into our lives.
We will build a take-home yoga practice that will help you build strength, stamina, and confidence.
We will build a meditation practice that you can rely on, one that will keep you sane.

Class will start on Sunday, October 29th and end on December 3rd.
We will meet for 2-3 hours each week 1-4pm at Yoga Bywater.
We will do the work of becoming warriors together.
You will need a copy of Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior, a yoga mat, some experience with yoga (you do NOT need to have a regular practice) and a notebook.
The investment is $150 until October 22 and $180 after.
